December 1st at 5pm at the Library Agenda Items: Art Show evaluation: Decisions/Discussion/ Updates: Great Reception, lots of people 75? No bread, miscommunication. Remember to ask BOH (Liz Whipple) for permit for food items. Suggestion: have a guest book for people to sign with comments. It's a tremendous workload to put up and take down the show. Suggestion: Don't call it "drop off" and "pick up" but rather show hanging and take down. Make more of an effort to get a quota of helpers from those submitting work. Also be more direct about needing people to sit. October 22 film night:_Decisions/Discussion/ Updates: Potluck responsibilities: Suzanne - lasagna, Nicol - dessert, Mari - salad, Tom - other main dish. Popcorn: Nicol & Mari. Soup event: Decisions/Discussion/ Updates: Usually the 3rd weekend in January and we work with Wooden Fender who organizes music, flier. Let's meet in early December to plan. Theater event: Decisions/Discussion/ Updates: Jonathan Mirin has just submitted a Cultural Council grant for his 28 Feet theater performance with us as local sponsoring agent. Not sure how much will come through, he gets between $600-$1000. We did $600 for Mark Twain last year. Old Home Days may not work for him timing wise, he'll know in January.
