Minutes
Members present: Patricia Lemon, Jim Toth, Rick Abbott Others present:

Arguimbau, Chris Ryan, Dick Whiting, Al Mexcur, George Day. 
I.	Call to Order 
The Meeting was called to order at 6:15pm at the Town Hall by Chairman
Lemon. 
II.  Presentations/Discussions
1.	2008 Annual Town Election  - The following list of election
workers was presented by Lemon on behalf of Town Clerk Jeannette
Fellows: Cathy Carey; Janet Conover; Tracey Weed; Mary Williamson; Helen
Whipple; Charles Lisowski; Chris Duerring; Beth Gilgun; Rodney Whipple;
Judy Johnson; Andrea Woods; Julie Severance; Regina Curtis; Carol Foote;
Betsy Lochhead; Denise LaPlante; Linda Harwood; Barbara Walker; Clare
Green.

Lemon MOVED the Board of Selectmen appoint the list of election workers
and any other persons the Town Clerk arranges to fill vacancies to cover
the Annual Town Election. Abbott Seconded.  VOTED.

2.	Next Selectboard Meeting - Originally the next meeting had been
voted to be held on Friday, May 16 at 6 pm in Town Hall. Because the
Annual Town Election is being held Monday, May 19, an alternate date is
preferable.

Lemon MOVED to reschedule the meeting of May 16 to Tuesday, May 20, 2008
at 6 pm in Town Hall. Toth Seconded. VOTED.


3.	Write-In Candidates for Board of Health - Toth brought up Board of
Health member Rita McConville's suggestion that Helen Whipple be written
in for the currently vacant one-year term on the BoH. Also, McConville
had expressed to Toth and Lemon her concern that three members must be
available throughout the Summer months, which Dick Whiting, the declared
candidate for the three-year term, will not be. McConville is hopeful
that Donnie Matthews will be written in for that term instead.

4.	Annual Town Meeting - Mexcur briefly reviewed procedures and time
certain for the reconvening of the ATM if necessary. Warrant articles
were assigned to Board members to be read aloud at the ATM.

III.   Adjournment

Lemon MOVED at 6:59 pm. to adjourn the meeting.  Toth Seconded.  VOTED.
