The Town of Warwick, MA is soliciting price quotes for the following:

Window Sash Repair, Town Hall

46 Window openings

-Remove glass and paint from sash with steam, save and reuse the antique
cylinder glass. (Replacement cost is $45. per lite for the bottom sash)

-Tighten up and re-peg weak joints. Drive pegs from interior to
exterior.

-Soak sash in wood preservative

-Prime sash with Benjamin Moore Alkyd primer or Sherwin Williams A-100
Alkyd Primer

-Bed glass and glaze with UGL Glazol. Where glass is missing, replace
with glass stored in Town Hall cellar.

-Prime putty after putty has adequately cured

-Paint outside face with two coats of Sherwin Williams Duration Exterior
Paint and inside face Sherwin Williams Super Interior Paint (or
equivelant), following manufacturer's instructions for application.

-Clean excess paint off sash edges, treat with linseed oil

-Wash Windows
