1. Called to order at 7:02 pm - everyone signed in.  Added Kimberly's
email to item #3 of agenda.

2. Minutes of Aug 26 mtg. unanimously approved

3. Committee reports & to do

Kimberly's emailed questions
Hockanum view "to the Southeast and overlooking part of Wheeler pond"
Dave will check on Kimberly's question about agricultural landscapes
identified in 1992 Franklin County Rural Historic Landscape Preservation
Plan.

Teen subcommittee - no update.  Hopefully will map in September, early October.

Map subcommittee made many changes, which went to Kimberly.  Kimberly
needs to email maps to Karro and Brad as soon as they're done.

Reminder: Oct 14 is Public Forum.

4. Newsletter for Oct 1 and mailing.   Ted suggests we put flyer in
survey mailing.  Agreed.  Change leading "The" to "Warwick."

When should mailing go out?  Shoot for October 1, so it doesn't arrive
so far in advance that people forget all about it.

Bulk mailing: Ted, Dave, Mary, Matt, and Brad will get together to
collate, fold and mail sometime before Oct 1st.

5. Materials for public forum.  Need a copy of the powerpoint
presentation from Kimberly in advance of public meeting.

6. Revised Section 7 needs.  Mary found a couple of typos, so did Brad. 
And Dave.  Mary had a suggestion about CRs vs. land trusts & the state. 
She'll give Ted a drop-in section.

7. Work on Section 9 - Five year action plan.  Mary suggests adding
brief headers before each lettered section in Table 9-1 to remind
readers what each is about.

Table 9-1 changes:

A1.	already done.  Drop it.
A2.	keep
A3.	keep
A4.	Drop historic district; keep inventory and mapping.
A5.	Keep
B1.	OSC and zoning done; keep 2nd item (identifying parcels).  Change
"Form Open Space Committee" to "Maintain ..."
B2.	Change "appoint" to "maintain"; keep 2nd item, add new action
"look for funding sources."  Change objective to "conserve open space." 
"Accept land ..." to first action.
B3.	Adopt a protocol for Chapter 61 first refusal; add ConComm.
B4.	drop B4 - North Quabbin Regional Landscape Partnership and others
are already doing this
B5.	drop this - sort of a rehash of B2
B6.	 drop "historical" from this one (it's in A4).  Drop Devil's
Washbowl and Indian Caves (both now protected).  1st action: change to
inventory (drop "complete").  Drop Biodiversity Days action.  Keep
"certify vernal pools."
B7.	Drop this; this has been done.
B8.	Drop this.
B9.	Done.  Drop it.
C1.	Drop this - can't do town beach because of liability; covered in
other items.
C2.	change to "seniors and youth"
C3.	rearrange and reword
C4.	Now have a recreation committee.  Reword objective vs. action.
Add: delineate boundaries on town parcels.

C6.	[new] Maintain existing trails.  Action: establish hiking club. 
D1.	keep it.
D2.	[new] Encourage agriculture.  Establish agricultural commission;
enact Right to Farm bylaw.


Next meeting on September 16*: work on sections 7 and 8, plus teen stuff
and equestrian stuff.

*Yes, this is an extra meeting.  Sigh.
