Graded and rock raked remainder of White Rd., Kirk Rd., W. Rum Brook
Rd., Royalston Rd. and Chase Hill Rd.
Spoke with Tree Warden on tree issues
Assisted BOH with delivery on new shed for transfer station
Installed new mud flaps on truck # 2

Tues. May 1 
Crushed dumpsters at transfer station
Removed stump on Hastings Heights Rd. at town line turnaround
Began digging out ditch line on Beech Hill Rd. by culvert # 4 until
hydraulic hose on Backhoe broke - went to Porter's Diesel to get new
hose made to put on Backhoe
Met with prospective candidates for temporary highway position
Met with David Young to go over highway issues

Wed. May 2 
Jim on vacation day
Finished digging ditch line on Beech Hill Rd. - broke another backhoe
hose and had to go to Porter's Diesel to get new one and put back on

Thurs. May 3 
Put out 56 yards of hard pack on Beech Hill Rd. near culvert # 4
Community Service people came in to pick up trash on Rt. 78

Fri. May 4 
Brian out sick today
Brought truck # 2 to Nutmeg Truck in W. Springfield for repair and recall order
Demolished old shed in transfer station for BOH and put in demo dumpster
Checked roads for storm damage
