Mon. Dec. 5 
Began cutting brush on Orange Rd. south of the old Brush Valley Rd.
Spoke with EMD, Jim Erviti, on National Grid issues

Tues. Dec. 6 
Began grinding and painting Backhoe
Repaired heating system on truck # 4
Serviced chainsaws
Began marking trees on Hastings Heights Rd. for cutting plan for future
tree hearing
Crushed dumpsters in transfer station

Wed. Dec. 7 
Finished scraping and painting Backhoe front-end area and front bucket
Working on brake light problem on Loader - ordered part
Checked beaver areas for any problems
Prepped trucks for snowstorm

Thurs. Dec. 8 
Called in personnel at 1 A.M. to sand all paved roads - called in
private contractors at 4:30 A.M. and plowed and sanded all paved roads -
2-3" of heavy, wet snow
Sander belt on truck # 2 broke during storm - removed belt and ordered new one
Cut up several trees that fell during storm on various roads
Repaired moderate washout on lower Chestnut Hill Rd.

Fri. Dec. 9 
Checked all roads for storm damage
Had meeting with National Grid representative, Fire Chief Gates, Police
Chief Shoemaker and EMD Jim Erviti to go over National Grid storm
related issues to be better prepared in future events
Washed trucks
