Crushed dumpsters at transfer station Received report of problem with culvert on Winchester Rd. - culvert unclogged Received report of tree on edge of road on Chestnut Hill Rd. - tree removed Measured up roads for future projects Tues. Oct. 25 Patched trench on Bliss Hill Rd. Graded and rock raked Chestnut Hill Rd., W. Wilson Rd. and finished Old Winchester Rd. Repaired culvert end on Shepardson Pl. Wed. Oct. 26 Replaced rear springs on truck # 4 Dug out bleeders on Chestnut Hill Rd. as needed Hauled back 4 loads of crushed stone from Porter Trans. to Hwy. garage Thurs. Oct. 27 Converted truck # 2 to sander operability Check all roads in town for condition Did complete service on truck # 2 Met with Stacy Metzger of FRCOG on sign retro-reflectivity requirements Began complete service on Road Grader Called in personnel at 7:15 P.M. to sand all paved roads due to wet snow in elevated areas - went home at 10 P.M. Fri. Oct. 28 Went out to cut trees bent into roadway from heavy snow around town Notified National Grid of tree on wires on Shepardson Rd. Prepped equipment for Saturday's storm Sat. Oct. 29 and Oct. 30 Called in personnel to begin sanding all paved roads at 3 P.M. - called in private contractors and began plowing all paved roads at 6 P.M. - we had 9" of snow by 8 P.M. - Warwick declared State of Emergency at 8:12 P.M. - town-wide loss of power at about 9 P.M. - began re-plowing all paved roads at 8:45 P.M. - we had 14" of snow by 10 P.M. - re-plowed all paved roads again at 2 A.M. on Sun. Oct. 30 - began finish plowing at 7 A.M. - began clearing dirt roads of snow and clearing of roadways around downed trees - went home at 2 P.M. - 20 - 24" of heavy, wet snow
