The Historical Society web site was down from mid April till early June. The site is currently up and running. Please check once in a while and let Ed know if there are any problems. Beth may be able to do a special on clothing for the Society. Ed led a conversation on collection items. Additional report information attached. Motion to adjourn at 7:55pm by Arline, seconded by Ann. Respectfully submitted Mike Carey For Martha Morse, Secretary Curator's Report - June 17, 2015 Your curator is without transportation and dependent on the good will of others, so is not able to participate in some Society activities. Inventory Project The inventory project is still on hold. I would ask the members of the Archival Committee to do the usual cleanup before we open on July 5. I hope to announce a meeting soon. Program for September/Later I have spoken with Beth Gilgun who says she would be happy to give a presentation at a Society meeting. Topic and date would be arranged, but this might be nice for September's meeting, if the program committee and Beth have no other plans. Museum and Web Page Museum Sign-up We are open from 2 - 4 p.m. on Sundays during the months of July and August, including Saturday all day during Old Home Days. Please volunteer for at least one session. I'm not sure when I'll be available, but as soon as I can, I'll be there to help out. [sign-up sheet passed around] The web page was down from mid-April to early June, due to an error on the server hosting our site. I didn't discover this until I got several inquiries wanting to know what was wrong. I hope nobody was inconvenienced by this and would ask that people check up on the site every so often and let me know if something is wrong.
