Mary Wall, Bill Suzor, Jim Hamlett and I got together last night.  (Sam
Richardson couldn't make it, but he sent on the Northfield Trails Assn's
mission statement.) We agreed to propose "Friends of Warwick's Forests"
as our group's name and the following as our mission statement:

The Friends of Warwick's Forests (FoWF) is a volunteer group organized
to:

* Facilitate communication, cooperation and goodwill among trail users,
landowners and DCR

* Preserve and enhance recreation resources in Warwick

* Encourage forest and trail stewardship

* Educate users in responsibilities.

We agreed to circulate among ourselves potential by-laws (governing
principals and protocols) in preparation for another meeting at 7 p.m.
on Tuesday (7/7) to put together a list for your consideration at our
next general-membership meeting at the Town Hall Thursday 7/16 at 7 p.m.

If any of you has a suggestion for the by-laws, please send it to us
all.  Any discussion of the name and/or mission statement should also be
circulated.
