Coordinator Report July 5, 2012

Housing Authority Robin Sherman is coming to discuss a new contract to
administer our CDBG program income portfolio. They have served us well
over the years. I would like to see unrestricted funds come to the Town.
We may want to reprogram some of the restricted funds to other uses.
Let's hear what she proposes, consider the costs, and consider our
options.

No progress to report on DCR permits renewal of our contract.

The Solid Waste District bid on hauling and disposal of waste and
recyclables beginning July 1. The Transfer Station Commissioners will
meet for the first time on Monday and make a recommendation.  Waste
Management is far and away the lowest bidder. Only complication is that
we have six months remaining on the Complete Disposal paper compactor
lease / purchase so will continue with that until Jan for the paper
only.  The Selectboard will need to ratify their decision and authorize
execution of the contract.  The commission will attend the beginning of
the Selectboard meeting in joint session at 7:00.

New treasurer training is ongoing. Bond is applied for. Transition date
of 7/25 is on schedule.

David Thomas of Seaboard Solar confirms he will attend the Special town
Meeting.  Warrant was posted on July 5 by constable Day.
