Coordinator report  -  April 28, 2011

Election and Town Meeting warrants were posted by Constable Day on April
24.  60 copies of the "Stretch Code" and 100 of the Town Meeting Warrant
and Budget are printed and collated.  A sufficient number of voter cards
are ready as are paper ballots which are required for Article 23.  I
expect we will have sufficient copies of the Town Report printed in time
for town meeting.

Selectboard meets at 6 pm to address a light agenda, assign speaking
roles and meet with moderator and town counsel in preparation for the 7
pm Annual Town Meeting.

Fire Dept requests a one day beer and wine license for June 11.  Related
to this, Reva Reck will be before the board with a request to allow use
of Fellow's Field for a wedding reception.  On recommendation of police
chief, I will ask you vote to close the section of Hastings Heights Rd
in front of the fire station that day. Reva has arranged for the Fire
Dept. to provide the bar for this event which becomes a Fire Dept
fundraiser and for which we have insurance coverage.

Secretary of State has provided us with a legal text description of the
Town for the board to vote to approve. I think this is the final brick
in that single voting precinct load.
