Coordinator Report April 20, 2017 I've posted this Monday's meeting as a Finance Committee concurrent meeting in case we can achieve a quorum. And I've recommended that whenever they meet they focus especially on the PVRSD assessment and the new fire truck borrowing. They have been supplied excel format budget spreadsheet. Per the board's request you will meet with Tom Scanlon Jr. of Scanlon Assoc., who are our independent auditors regarding the 2015 audit and management letter. This is another reason to include Finance Committee. I found reference in December 2007 to reduced salt area by old school and Unitarian church and I've included the relevant language as meeting document. Larry is figuring we will need to take about $8k from the expense line and all the surplus wage funding to reallocate to reduce snow and ice deficit. BEC Chair Janice Kurkoski has lined up an installer for the heat pumps to be overseen by a utility approved expeditor (PEX) who are only marking up the project 10% thanks to all JK's work. Our hosted solar development in West Brookfield should come on line in late May. This will be an income producer for the town to the tune of 1/2 cent per Kw hour. We have "capacity" under the rules to develop another 4 Megs of power with Town of Warwick name on the meter. The related Seaboard net meter credit purchase agreement is on a rooftop project in Clinton MA which will be on line soon. Monday May 1 at 7 pm is the Annual Town Meeting.
