Coordinator report December 4, 2014 Building Commissioner Delorey has submitted a draft revised building fee proposal for adoption. I recommend the board do so to bring us in line with area towns. It is heavily based on the FRCOG schedule in force in a majority of Franklin County towns. Another item to discuss with Phil is how we pay the deputy / local inspector. Based on the way the TM voted he will need to agree to have it come from his salary line. I don't see any other way to do this in the middle of the budget year. I recommend the board pass the WiredWest resolution which tells MBI we are interested, asks them to continue to make models and plans with Warwick as a part of the project and commits the Selectboard to bringing the matter of authorizing borrowing authority to residents at our annual meeting in May. Miryam requests the Board appoint Bill Foote to the Broadband Committee. Bill has indicated his willingness. We mourn the recent passing of Reva. Member Lemon proposes that we change the Selectboard meeting time to begin at 5 pm until daylight savings time. Karro Frost requests that the Selectboard appoint Beth Arseneau who owns a camp in town to the Conservation Commission. No one has volunteered for BoH or to be our representative to the Veteran District. We have one person interested in the Rec Committee so far. Warwick was among 13 towns who received Green Communities designation at a statehouse ceremony this week. Janice Kurkoski and I traveled to Boston and were joined by Representative Andrews. Our grant award is in the amount of $137,850.
