On Thursday May 28th at the Warwick Town Hall, an information session
and discussion on Compressor Stations and the TGP Pipeline is
scheduled. There will be a video presentation on compressor stations
like the one proposed for Northfield. Featured speakers will include
Leigh Youngblood of Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust and Ivan Ussach
of The Millers River Environmental Center. Scott Jackson, a UMASS
ecologist will also be joining the panel of presenters. This event is
sponsored by the conservation commission and the planning board. Time
will be allotted for questions and answers. Representatives from
neighboring towns are invited to give regional updates. People are
invited to share their positions, pro or con. All are welcome to
attend.
