September 1, 2010 Meeting Minutes
Town Hall

Meeting was called to order at 2:00 PM by chair Jeff Joyce.
Present were Jim Toth, Jeff Joyce, Ed Hawes.
Minutes of last meeting were unavailable
Bills:
Power bill for period ending 6/29/2010 was returned to us by the
accountant citing the need to fill out proper previous fy form prior to
7/15/2010 which was prior to our receipt of the bill. Will resubmit with
note to that effect. It was also noted that we have not received a power
bill since then. There should have been at least one.
No bills received relative to any previous burials or recent mowing
Burials: 
Willie McKnight buried 8/24/2010 in Sec 7 Lot 81. 24" X 24" cremation
hole centered 24" south of stone and 32" east of lot line. Received
check for $50 from Witty's for marking grave. Family did digging at no
cost.
Phyllis Webster died on 6/24/2010. Cremains to be buried in Sec 7 Lot
116 once stone is set.
Operations: 
Jeff reports that mowing is going well.
Jeff questioned use of White riding mower which is not currently being
used. Jim informed commission that mower is usefull backup for
zero-radius machine but is likely to see little use in that role since
other mower is working very well. White mower's unique function is to
tow red dump cart for cleanup and leveling operations. None which have
occurred this year.
Jeff reported that leathers were obtained for pump from Greenfield
Farmers Cooperative and that the pump appears to be working quite well.
It was noted that the pump did not need to be primed today even though
there was indication of recent use. Discussion of need for containment
of water jugs. Many jugs are now present. When full they are a bit
unsightly. People have been returning them empty and not refilling them.
Empty jugs often blow away and litter the surrounding area. Item left
under consideration.
FY expense summary presented with total Perpetual Care expenses of
$2186.75 well under the budget of $2620 and FY 2009 expenses of $2346.38.
Next meeting set for 2 PM on 10/13/2010 at town hall
