Town of Warwick Cemetery Commission April 15, 2010 Meeting Minutes Town Hall Meeting convened at 2:00 PM by chair Jim Toth All members, Jeff Joyce, Ed Hawes, and Jim Toth, were in attendance Burials: Jane Noble, cremation burial on 11/29/2009, Sec 7 Lot 136N Debra Perkins, cremation burial on 3/27/2010, Sec 6 Lot 75 Elva Tarbell Johnson Pocopio, traditional burial scheduled for 5/15/2010, 10 AM in Sec 7 Lot 91, exact part of lot to be determined Marion Dorothy LaFluer Whipple, cremation burial scheduled for 5/22/2010, 11 AM in Sec 3 Lot 238 south of John Whipple Grave openings for coming year: Jim to check with Don Matthews to see if he is still available and willing to dig openings and at what fee Records: Jim gave Jeff & Ed an overview of the Database, Spreadsheet, obituary, and photo records on the Boards Room computer and went over process for completing and submitting bill schedules and submittals to the Treasurer. Records from the vault to be reviewed at next meeting. Bills: Invoices from National Grid and the Perkins burial were paid Operations: Jeff reported that George Roaf was willing to continue on as mower but Cody Ross would no longer be available for trimming. It was moved by Toth and seconded by Joyce that George be asked if he is willing to take on the added responsibilities of trimming at the same rate as mowing and if not, we would advertise the trimmer position at the same hourly rate as last year. Vote unanimous. Elections: Jeff Joyce's term is up at the coming election. He has not taken out papers but will serve if elected as a write-in candidate. Next meeting set for Thursday, 4/29/2010, 2:00 PM at Town Hall with a visit to the cemetery during the meeting.
