A PROGRESS REPORT FROM THE BROADBAND COMMITTEE

In August the Special Town Meeting passed an article establishing an
enterprise fund to bring high-speed internet to Warwick. Since then, we
have awarded the contract for consulting, detailed system design, and
equipment installation to AccessPlus Communications. With their
assistance, we've submitted the paperwork to DCR for use of the Mount
Grace Tower and to American Towers for use of the cell tower. We are
currently sourcing the equipment we need to purchase and have found some
very competitive pricing options. We are also working on upgrading our
current internet connection. We'll do our best to keep you posted.
