THE GREEN CORNER - David Young We are grateful to the many folks who donated time and material to the town hall photovoltaic project recently completed. Your generosity meant that we could afford, within our budget, to add a sixth solar panel to the array. The project was paid for by Warwick resident's green energy purchases in the form of matching funds from the State's Clean Energy Choice program. Added to this was a Commonwealth Solar incentive payment of $1200, about $300 of general fund revenue and your in-kind contributions. Total cost of the project was $7,455. The system is installed. As soon as National Grid installs a "net" meter we will turn the system on and begin making electricity for years to come. On behalf of the Building and Energy Committee, the Selectboard and the Town, thank you to all the contributors.
