LETTER OF THANKS - TOWN HALL FIX-UP DAY - Janice Kurkoski Thanks to the following who participated in the Town Hall Fix-up day on Oct 18th: We accomplished the following: Jaylin Dibble, Jinx Hastings, Ann Kendall, and Janice Alden fabricated and hung three beautiful curtains in the main hall. Les Goodman and Brad Compton installed a new cellar door frame (pre-made by Les) and then re-hung and insulated the doors. Ted Cady took readily to the new foam gun and air-sealed several obscure locations in the basement and kitchen. Jack Cadwell performed delicate exploratory surgery on a window in the Boards Mtg. room, replacing the sash cords while investigating different insulation options within the walls. Steve Kurkoski and Joe Delfausse rewired and installed the electric heater in the bathroom. Mary Thomas ‘tactfully’ sealed some of the ductwork in the basement. Chris Ryan creatively insulated the unused south chimney, all the while perched on the drain pipe. David Young fed us all, Ed Lemon documented the affair, and Janice Kurkoski was the clerk of the works. Apologies if anyone was left out. Someone said it was so much fun we should do each others' houses...not a bad idea!
