Meeting Minutes, September 17, 2008

Meeting called to order 7:05

Minutes moved, seconded and passed for August.

Announcements
Les built the frame for town hall bulkhead. It needs to be installed,
sealed, foamed, insulated, and some type of a latch installed.
David Young has hired Bill Lyman to install a clean out door in the
north chimney.
Curtains for the windows in Town Hall main hall are ready for fitting.
The Womens Guild will be asked to do this. 
C.E.T. will hold a home energy savings workshop in Athol October 8. We
will get this on the Warwick L.

To do list for the upcoming Town Hall work day. 
Insulate hot water pipes.
Insulate band joists.
Town clerks' office hole in floor needs sealing where duct was.
Kitchen chimney needs more flame rated foam to be installed
with a long nozzle.
Move thermostat upstairs. We should inform Jeanette about
moving the thermostat.
Sash cords installed for windows and insulate pockets.
Close all storm windows and remove air conditioners.
Plug southwest chimney at the bottom.
Clean out cellar window wells near bulkhead.
Measure and fit main hall thermal curtains.

Jack will write a memo to Andrea announcing 
October 18 for town hall work day.

ESCO / Warwick Community School
Siemens has been informed to put the Warwick Community School on the
FRCOG list for auditing. Recent energy data needs to be gathered.
It would be good to get someone from the WCS to be on our committee.
This person could be the liaison between the WBEC to the WCS. Ellen and
Mark Manard are to be contacted with this idea.

Highway Dept.
Jobs for Highway Dept. personnel:
Air seal both buildings, paying attention to the ceiling, door, and
window joints.
Build a door to cover the hatch in the old garage: air seal and insulate it.
Air seal holes in ceiling in the old garage
Air seal and flash interior chimney in the old garage
Build & install a vented cover for the salt shed attic access, after
pigeons are ousted.
Fabricate double plastic interior storms for the windows in both buildings.
