Warwick Buildings and Energy Committee draft minutes

July meeting minutes accepted 
Attending: Jack Cadwell (JC), Dan Dibble (DD), Janice Kurkoski (JK),
Steve Kurkoski (SK), Kevin Smith (KS)

Highway Equipment Garage/Salt Shed
JK and SK informed the committee about the meeting yesterday at the Salt
Shed with SK, JK, DD, Andy Cole (from Cole Builders) and Tim Kilhart.
Exterior insulation and siding is getting more and more complex. We
discussed and revisited the possibility of insulating on the inside. KS
voiced his concern of degradation of interior spray foam due to UV and
airborne pollutants if left exposed. Many variations were discussed,
particularly for the north wall. KS will run some estimates for sheet
products vs. R values. Members of the group will meet next week with Tim
Kilhart to narrow the possibilities.

PVRS/Warwick School
JK will e-mail Gail about the Building and Grounds sub-committee
meeting. 

Town Hall 
JK mentioned that some more window sashes should be refurbished.

Safety Building
JK will fwd the draft drawings to KS. KS will contact David Young, Ron
Gates and others from the building committee to get an update about the
Safety Building. KS will report back to this committee what he finds. 

Miscellaneous
We welcomed KS to the committee and gave him a briefing of the projects
and issues we are currently involved in.
