Warwick Building and Energy Committee Draft Meeting Minutes, June 16,
2008 Location: Board Meeting Room, Town Hall
Meeting called to order 6:15
Attending: Janice Kurkoski, Dan Dibble, Jim Toth, Steve Kurkoski, Les Goodman


A discussion commenced concerning whether the WBEC committee should
remain an ad hoc committee or be an official town committee. It was
voted and passed (5 yes) to request the Selectmen to recognize WBEC
committee as an official committee. All 6 committee members will be
nominated to sit on the board (if Les is willing).

Town Hall Volunteer Day (THVD)
The day and time is set at 6-26-2008, Saturday, 10AM-2PM 
Jim will put this in the newsletter, along with a task list.
A walk around the TH was done and the following is a list of potential projects;
Caulk cellar window
Repair two windows in upper furnace room, mens and ladies room windows
Repair or board up with insulation five windows in lower basement
Bulkhead door, insulate, install threshold to keep back water, repair
upper portion of the metal door, make entryway secure
Jim will generate a more complete work list

Town Hall
For the record the TH septic tank was pumped today, June 16, 2008. Jim
will look into the possibility of using a man lift which is at the
church to help repair the TH roof cap.

Other issues
Janice will get the name of the EFI account representative for the town
from Patricia.

Janice and Jim will draft a letter concerning the heat problem at school
and send it to the original architect and Steve Fields.

Bill Gran will no longer be with FRCOG. Bob Dean is his replacement.

Dan reported that Warwick has reached the 6% level for sign up of Green
Electricity.
