And include a discussion of why it should not be given/sold to another group or individual. JC is ready to do the June Green Corner based on his experience with installation of solar on his & Karro's house. PVRSD; JK & SK met with the Warwick members of the PVRSD "HEART" committee re: the possibility of addressing the District Agreement to allow Towns to upgrade their school buildings. SK shared the work he has previously done with other towns in the district. One of the ideas put forth was to gather the Energy Committees & the HEART committees of the four towns for a joint session of brainstorming on the school energy use options in each town. FRCOG: An email was drafted to Pat Smith of FRCOG asking how much time/money was left in the Warwick portion of the Technical Assistance Grant, what is the deadline for using that assistance and what has she done in other towns in this capacity? Status of Green Communities Grant Projects; - Town Hall/ Highway office heat pumps; JK has gathered information on pre-approved expeditors and has been in contact with one who is interested in doing all the installations and installing ceiling fans in the main hall of the Town Hall. SK reported that he & JK had been in the Town Hall recently and found the thermostats reprogrammed to above 70 from the 50 setting originally set. He re-set them and it was discussed whether there should be locking or password activated thermostats be installed. Since the new mini-splits will take care of some of this issue, no recommendations put forward JK mentioned that the attic vent closure had been blown in. Suggested that DY contact someone to install a louvered vent to allow some venting of the attic. (Noted that that was not adequate for the space and no further recommendations offered.) Window repairs are complete. JC will assess the work and make recommendations for payment or further work needed. Discussion of "winsert" repair needed and where to store them during the off-season. Highway Garage security lighting; National Grid has deactivated the security light and the account is closed. The Tech School is still scheduled to install new LED lights. Some discussion of whether the NG pole will be available for the new lights, not resolved. NEXT MEETING TBD Meeting adjourned 7:55 PM
