Spay/Neuter Program The Massachusetts Animal Coalition has awarded Warwick Animal Control & Care a $3,000.00 grant for FY 08 which allows for dogs and cats in Animal Control Officer custody to be spayed or neutered prior to being placed up for adoption. This Spay/Neuter program also allows dogs and cats owned by Warwick residents to be spayed or neutered at no cost for the surgery and hospitalization. Surgeries are performed by Lauralyn J Brown, DVM, 194 Millers Falls Road, Turners Falls, MA. To have your pet spayed or neutered, please contact Dr. Brown's office at 413-863-0025 to schedule the appointment, being sure to mention you are participating in the Warwick Spay/Neuter Program. Then contact ACO Rosa Calcari at 978-544-5218 and provide the following information: Your name, address, breed and name of pet, type of surgery and date of surgery. A letter will be furnished to Dr. Brown for her records. If your pet needs a rabies vaccination, the cost to you is $16.00. All dogs and cats 6 months of age and older must be vaccinated against rabies.
